Infrastructure being planned around Redwood — and why it matters for our community.
The City of San Marcos is advancing a new regional wastewater reclamation facility (Progressive Design-Build) southeast of the city, near the Redwood area. One of the engineering alternatives for our community is connecting Redwood directly to the City's system — potentially the lowest long-term-cost option. The project was presented at the San Marcos City Council meeting on June 16, 2026.
